Healthy Lemon Slice


Needing a special guilt free protein treat? Why not try this recipe for yourself and enjoy! Not quite sure how long this delicious treat will last in my home!!!!

Ingredients:

1 cup of Herbalife Vanilla Shake Mix (protein)

1 cup of Oats (I used quick oats) 1/2 cup of Chopped Almonds (OR other nuts, seeds etc)

1/2 cup Lemon Juice (freshly squeezed) 1/4 cup zest of Lemon (add more or less for taste)

1/4 cup of Maple Syrup (OR Honey, Agava Syrup etc)

1/4 cup of Almond Milk (OR lite Soy Milk, Skim Milk)

Desiccated Coconut Method:

Mix together and press into a slice tray (use baking paper for easily removal) and put in the freezer.

Cut into small bite sizes or roll into balls. Sprinkle (or roll) with coconut.

Tips: Keep in the freezer in an air-tight container ready for when we need a healthy protein snack.
